The 81492A Keysight reference transmitter is designed to provide excellent eye image quality for NRZ and PAM4 signals at baud rates up to 56 Gbaud and can be used as a general-purpose single-mode E/O converter. In addition to internal lasers at 1310 and 1550 nm, an external optical input is available for a tunable laser source. It is fully integrated into Keysight's optical receiver limit test solution to meet the test requirements of IEEE 802.310, 40, 100 and 400GBASE optical standards.
