The AQ6150B optical wavemeter is ideal for accurately measuring the wavelength lengths of optical devices and systems in the wavelength range from 900 nm to 1700 nm. By using a Michelson interferometer and a high-speed fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm, the AQ6150B can measure not only single-wavelength laser signals, but also multi-wavelength laser signals from DWDM systems and Fabry-Perot lasers. In addition, the technology can measure modulated laser signals in addition to CW signals from optical transceivers. Optimized optical design and data processing procedures significantly reduce measurement times and increase production throughput.
