The Keithley 8010 High Power Device Test fixture provides a safe and simple connection for testing packaged high power devices up to 3000V or 100A. The model 8010 is a high-voltage SourceMeter instrument (Model 2657A), one or two high-current SourceMeter instruments (Model 2651A) and three low-power SourceMeter instruments (other 2600A series or model 4200-SCS source measurement units) (SMU) instrument) provides the connection. In this way, devices with 2 terminals (diodes) or 3 terminals (transistors) or even 4 or 5 terminals can be safely and accurately characterized. The model 8010 is fully interlocking and can be connected to up to six SourceMeter instruments. The Model 8010 has an integrated protection circuit to protect the low-voltage SourceMeter instrument from the high-voltage output of the Model 2657A in the event of equipment failure. The Model 8010 includes a high current (100A) and a high voltage (3000V) test socket. A variety of replacement test socket modules are available, including TO-247, TO-220, axial leads, and blank socket modules that allow the construction of custom sockets. In addition to the standard banana jumper, the Model 8010 features a rear panel oscilloscope and thermal probe ports to simplify system integration.
