Product Description:
The N4876A 28 Gb/s multiplexer can extend the generator data rate of the J-BERT N4903B and ParBERT 81250A to 28.4 Gb/s. Design and test engineers in the semiconductor, communications, storage, and computer industries can now accurately characterize next-generation serial interfaces operating at bit rates of up to 28.4 Gb/s. With its excellent output performance, it helps to optimize design margins by minimizing the impact of test equipment on measurement results. The small size allows the device under test to be placed close to the output.
The N4876A multiplexer doubles the data rate of the code generator by multiplexing two code generator channels. The N4876A extends the variable generator data rate of the J-BERT N4903B to 28.4 Gb/s and the variable generator data rate of the ParBERT 81250A to 27.0 Gb/s. Simply add the front end of the multiplexer to the 12.5/13.5/14.2 Gb/s BERT code generator to extend the operating rate to 28.4 Gb/s, which is an economical way.
