The 81635A dual-channel optical power sensor is ideal for accurate power measurement of optical fiber devices. Modular dual sensors fit all Keysight 816x Lightwave hosts and can be used individually or in multiple applications for parallel measurement of multi-channel devices. The output fiber can be easily connected using Keysight's flexible connector adapter or bare fiber adapter.
The module can run measurement applications such as data logging, stability, and recording minimum and maximum values over time. Trigger synchronization with tunable laser modules enables powerful spectral measurements with advantages such as higher resolution, better polarization dependence, and cost-effective multi-channel scalability. The module can record up to 20,000 samples with an average time as low as 100μs.
