The OSN 7500 is a next-generation optical transmission system developed by Huawei based on the current WAN application and development trend. It is an OCS device applied to the service scheduling node of the backbone layer of MAN, which is used to schedule and transmit services of different types and granularity.
The OSN 7500 uses the unified switching architecture and can be used as an MPLS/MPLS-TP packet device or TDM device. When used with other Huawei devices, the OSN 7500 supports multiple networking modes, including pure packet mode, hybrid networking (packet + TDM) mode, and pure TDM mode, to optimize packet services and traditional SDH services.
