The OSN 3500 is a next-generation optical transmission system developed by Huawei. It uses a unified switching architecture and can be used as an MPLS/MPLS-TP based packet device or a TDM device. When used with other Huawei devices, the OSN 3500 supports multiple networking modes, including pure packet mode, hybrid networking (packet + TDM) mode, and pure TDM mode, to optimize packet services and traditional SDH services. As a result, the OSN 3500 efficiently transmits voice and data services on the same platform.
