Early assessment of the EMI performance of a design is critical to the success of a product. The Agilent (HP) E7401A EMC Analyzer (9 kHz to 1.5 GHz) provides the features required by the analyzer to make internal EMI pre-conformance testing a reality.
Radiation emission
When combined with a wideband antenna, the Agilent (HP) E7401A is capable of checking the radiation emission of the DUT. It is best to do this in an area without reflective objects, such as an open area or EMI room.
Conducted emission
Test the E7401A instrument for noise or interference on the power or data lines by coupling it to a line impedance Stabilization network (LISN) device or an absorption clamp.
