Tektronix introduces the calibrated DPO7OE1 optical probe and analysis software for use with real-time oscilloscopes (Rtos) that meet Optical reference receiver (ORR) requirements for 28 GBaud PAM4 applications and support IEEE/OIF-CE) compliance measurements. This pair complements Tektronix's optical PAM4 analysis tool for oscilloscope sampling, providing the designer team with a comprehensive and effective test tool for all phases of the optical transmitter workflow. Based on real-time oscilloscopes such as the DPO70000SX, the product adds powerful debugging features, including software clock recovery for PAM4 and NRZ, triggering, error detection, and signal-related or continuous capture time recording.
The DPO70E1 probe and package have 33 GHz optical bandwidth for 28 Gbaud PAM4 debugging applications and can also be used for older NRZ applications. Analysis packages support standard optical measurements, including ER, AOP, OMA, eye height and eye width, as well as PAM4IEEE and OIF-CEI standard specific measurements, including TDECQ.
