The R&S ESPI7 test receiver offers many of the benefits of a Rohde&Schwarz fully compatible EMI test receiver for pre-compatibility grades. When equipped with the option R&S ESPI-K50, the ESPI7 can be used to measure the field intensity distribution of radio communication and broadcast networks.
Thanks to a common platform system, the R&S ESPI7 offers additional benefits of the R&S FSP spectrum analyzer. These benefits go far beyond the capabilities of conventional pre-conformance test equipment. The R&S ESPI7 defines key criteria, such as mid-range device functionality, measurement speed and accuracy, and is specifically designed to meet the requirements of all EMC tests during development. When fitted with an optional preselector/preamplifier, the R&S ESPI model has excellent dynamic range and can perform accurate EMI measurements against CISPR 16-1-1, suitable for RFI signals with a pulse repetition rate (PRF) of 10 Hz or more.
