The RDX-7708 test unit provides an RF source and monitor for complete RF testing of the ARINC 708 TR(transmitter/receiver) unit, including wind shear. The transmitted power is measured by mounting an RF power module through a waveguide. This method minimizes measurement errors due to changes in RF coaxial cable losses.
