Due to its low phase noise and low background noise, the Rohde & Schwarz FSU43 is an ideal instrument for radar development and stray shot finding measurement tasks. The inherent noise level of the FSU43 can be reduced by using noise correction, during which the instrument measures its own noise in its current operating mode and then removes it from the trace through signal processing, enabling the measurement of weak signals close to thermal noise.
