The modular unit of the cable assembly test system can be powered by MS05B/MS08B desktop host or MS10R rack-mounted host and a customizable external computer*. The MS mainframe communicates with the computer through a PCI card that runs on Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7.
The MS host allows single-mode and multi-mode insertion loss and return loss tests in a single station. Different modular configurations can be set to test up to four wavelengths.
