Product Description
This device is based on pulsed terahertz (THz) flight time (ToF) technology, with non-contact measurement capabilities. It can penetrate many opaque materials (such as plastics, rubber, coatings, and composite materials) and directly obtain data such as single-layer/multi-layer thickness, surface density, delamination / detachment, etc. When used in conjunction with T-Ray 5600 TCU (Terahertz Control Unit), it features modular probes, touchscreen operation, and independent data processing capabilities, allowing for on-site testing without the need for an external computer.
Key features
Advantages of terahertz penetration: Capable of measuring black/white opaque materials that traditional optics cannot penetrate, insensitive to environmental temperature and humidity and slight variations in material, reducing calibration frequency; safe for human eyes, no need for professional qualifications for operation
Flexible modular probes: Support straight/angled measurement heads, with positioning cones assisting in focusing during handheld measurement; configurable with 25/75 mm different working distances, suitable for narrow spaces and complex workpieces
Convenient touchscreen and data: Touchscreen interface, capable of simultaneously displaying 3 sets of measurement results; built-in processor, presetting multiple measurement templates for various materials/thicknesses; supports data storage, export, and integration into industrial data systems; waveform acquisition speed is fast, enabling rapid multi-point sampling
