Its high optical bandwidth can reach up to 30 GHz (typical), making it highly suitable for testing general high-performance 10 Gb/s optical components. The 80C11 can be configured with a clock recovery option, which can support any standard or user-defined rate in the continuous range of 9.8 to 12.6 Gb/s.
