Product Description
The ILX Lightwave LDX-3620 is an ultra-low-noise battery-powered laser diode current source specifically designed for high-precision laser applications. It is tailored to meet the driving requirements of narrow linewidth and stable wavelength laser diodes and is widely applicable to fields such as spectroscopy analysis, coherent optical communication, and laser precision measurement, which have strict demands for current stability and noise control. This device combines flexible power supply capabilities with precise current regulation performance. It integrates multi-mode working mechanisms and comprehensive laser protection circuits, enabling stable operation in a mains power environment and long-term operation in off-grid scenarios with built-in batteries and chargers. It provides stable and low-noise current output for laser diodes, ensuring consistency in laser wavelength and power, and facilitating the precise conduct of experiments and industrial tests.
Characteristics
Dual-range current output, offering two options: 200mA (for compliance voltage > 5V) and 500mA (for compliance voltage > 4V), which meet the driving requirements of different power specifications of laser diodes and cover various application scenarios.
Ultra-low noise and high stability performance, with a noise density as low as 815 pA/√Hz in battery operation mode. Within a 5Hz-10MHz bandwidth, the noise of the 200mA range is less than 850 nA rms, and that of the 500mA range is less than 2 μA rms; the 30-minute stability is better than 10 ppm, the 24-hour stability is less than 50 ppm, and the temperature coefficient is less than 10 ppm/°C, effectively avoiding the interference of current fluctuations on laser performance.
