R&S SMZ90 is a compact 6x waveguide frequency multiplier launched by Rohde & Schwarz, dedicated to upconverting 10GHz~15GHz input signals to 60GHz~90GHz millimeter-wave output. It is suitable for R&D and testing scenarios in fields such as automotive radar (77GHz/79GHz bands) and communication equipment. With a 50Ω impedance design, the instrument features a K-type female input connector and a WR12 waveguide output connector. It can seamlessly interface with signal generators like R&S SMF100A and SMW200A, enabling automatic frequency response calibration and attenuator control via software. It supports the generation of amplitude, phase, and pulse-modulated signals, serving as a highly integrated millimeter-wave signal solution.
