Product Description:
The FV-200 is a desktop fiber optic end-face inspection device launched by JDSU (which later merged into Viavi Solutions) and is a professional tool for fiber optic connector quality inspection. It uses coaxial illumination technology and a high-magnification optical system to magnify and display the microscopic structure of the fiber optic end-face, helping users accurately identify defects such as scratches, contamination, and edge breakage on the end-face. The device is typically equipped with an independent display (such as the desktop screen shown in the example) and a detection probe. The probe can be adapted to various fiber optic connector interfaces (such as FC, SC, LC, ST, etc.) and supports high-definition imaging and quality analysis of the fiber optic ceramic core end-face.
Key features:
High-magnification imaging: It has a 200x optical magnification capability, with a lateral field of view of 530 μm and a longitudinal field of view of 400 μm, enabling clear capture of micron-level defects (such as scratches, stains, pits, etc.) on the fiber optic end-face.
Coaxial illumination technology: It adopts a special coaxial light source design, allowing light to be directed along the fiber axis, significantly enhancing the contrast of end-face details, making subtle defects (such as scratches in the core area) easier to identify.
Multi-interface compatibility: By replacing different-sized adapters (such as 2.5 mm, 1.25 mm interfaces), it can be compatible with mainstream fiber optic connector types (such as FC, SC, LC, ST, etc.), meeting the needs of multiple scenarios for inspection.
