The R&S®SFU radio and television test system has a wide range of uses and leading technology. It integrates the functions of multiple instruments into a 4U height chassis and provides excellent RF and baseband performance. It is precisely because of its modular design concept that R&S®SFU can be adapted to users' different applications. It is an ideal tool for users to improve the quality of known digital TV standards and to develop new digital TV standards. To complete the above tasks, multiple instruments were required before, but now only R&S®SFU can be completed. This advanced design makes the operation faster and simpler.
Users can easily switch operating parameters (such as roll-off, punch rate, QAM mode, etc.), and can easily select those operating parameter values that exceed the standard for laboratory research. For special applications such as generating DVB-T/H signals, modulation, single carrier and carrier group can be turned off, and the entire RF frequency band can be scanned.
