The Wavetek 4808 is a high-precision multifunction calibrator designed specifically for calibrating 3½-digit to 8½-digit digital multimeters. It outputs standard signals for DC voltage, AC voltage, DC current, AC current, and resistance, covering the measurement ranges of general-purpose digital multimeters. Its core advantages lie in the use of substrate low-temperature control technology (with a temperature control accuracy of 0.001°C) and time-division linear segmentation technology, resulting in low noise, small hysteresis, and high stability in DC voltage output. The annual relative accuracy reaches 3.15ppm, making it one of the most accurate calibrators available. The device supports a GPIB interface (compatible with IEEE488.2 standard) and features a modular design without a cooling fan, making it suitable for laboratory and industrial environments.
