The frequency range of the N5182B signal generator is from 9kHz to 3GHz or 6GHz (depending on the options), featuring digital modulation capability and providing IQ modulation. It has an internal baseband generator with a 160MHz bandwidth, a sampling rate up to 1GSa, ±0.2dB flatness, and is equipped with 1Gsample playback memory and 30GB internal or 8GB external removable memory. This device supports modulation methods such as AM, FM, ØM, pulse, and narrow pulse, as well as I/Q modulation methods such as ASK, FSK, MSK, PSK, QAM, and custom I/Q. It has an automated and communication interface including 1000BaseT LAN, LXI, USB 2.0, and GPIB, and provides SCPI, IVI-COM, and MATLAB drivers.
