The 42842A is a 20 A current-scan adapter for 4284A/4285A LCR meters and 42841A bias sources. It integrates four-wire Kelvin and auto-short relays to safely apply ±20 A DC bias and accurately measure inductance from 20 Hz to 1 MHz, enabling fully automated DC-superposition characterization of magnetic components.
