Variable bandwidth - The optical tunable filter MTF-VB is a compact optical component based on MEMS, which can remove the noise after optical amplification in optical transceivers. The previous first and second generations of optical tunable filters could only adjust the transmission wavelength of the optical signal, while our newly developed wavelength and bandwidth optical tunable filter (MTF-VB) is based on Santec's proprietary technology. It can not only adjust the emission wavelength within a range of approximately 40nm, but also adjust the emission bandwidth (3dB bandwidth) from 200GHz to 700GHz. This is a compact component product supported by Santec for flexible transmission rates, which can achieve ASE noise suppression for different optical signal frequency bands (such as QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, etc.) ranging from 400 Gb/s to 1.6 Tb/s, and has the optimal filter bandwidth.
