The Michelson interferometer implemented by DORC uses an electronically controlled zoom objective lens. It can analyze the fringes created by introducing an internal reference path to measure the surface topography of connectors or fiber optic end faces. The fully enclosed, anti-vibration and anti-contamination Michelson configuration eliminates the requirement for physical contact between the fine surface of the test sample and the measurement equipment. Non-contact not only avoids contamination of the sample and the interferometer but also eliminates the possibility of measurement errors caused by contamination.
Features:
Can measure PC/APC connectors, ceramic pins, ceramic pin blanks, fiber optic cutting planes, and fiber optic cutting bevels.
Software automatically measures the radius of curvature, vertex offset, fiber height, angle error, surface roughness of the fiber optic/ ceramic pin, and is easy to use.
Automatic calibration, automatic focusing, and automatic X and Y direction adjustment.
Split design, compatible with Thinkpad laptops.
Can perform connector centering.
High-precision and high-repeatability non-contact measurement, with measurement time less than one second.
Archives and statistically analyzes test reports.
Automatically analyzes surface scratches.
Can control common I/R testers.
Fiber height test range can be extended to ±6um.
Complies with test methods of world standard organizations.
Electronically controlled zooming, detection, and interference fringe patterns.
