The Thorlabs PDB415A is a silicon-based fixed-gain balanced amplification photodetector. Characteristics
High common-mode rejection ratio: Equipped with two mutually matched photodiodes and an ultra-low-noise, high-speed transimpedance amplifier, the common-mode rejection ratio is high, effectively eliminating common-mode noise and extracting signals from interference noise.
Multiple connection ports: Features 3 female SMA electrical connection ports. Apart from the RF OUTPUT port of the transimpedance amplifier, the Monitor+ and Monitor- ports can independently monitor the response of each photodiode.
AC-coupled version: Offers an AC-coupled version, which can block the CW component (i.e., the unmodulated part) of the optical input signal, allowing the detector to focus more on the changing optical signal.
Bandwidth: 100 MHz, capable of meeting the detection requirements for various medium and high-speed optical signals.
Wavelength range: Has a good response to light within the wavelength range of 320nm - 1000nm, covering the visible light and some near-infrared light regions.
Maximum RF output voltage: For high-impedance loads, the maximum RF output voltage is ±3.6V; for 50Ω loads, the maximum RF output voltage is ±1.8V.
