Description:
The Amplifier Research 500A250D is a solid-state, standalone, air-cooled, broadband amplifier, specifically designed for applications that require instantaneous bandwidth, high gain, and linearity. When used in conjunction with a sweep generator, it will provide at least 500 watts of RF power in the range of 01 - 250 MHz. It includes a front panel gain control, allowing the operator to conveniently set the desired output level.
The 500A250D model is equipped with a digital control panel (DCP), which provides local and remote control for the amplifier. When the RF input level increases above 0 dBm, the RF input level circuit controls the RF input level of the first stage of the RF amplifier to prevent RF input overload. All amplifier control functions and status indications can be remotely accessed through the accompanying remote control package. The remote package includes GPIB/IEEE-488 format, RS-232 hardwired and optical fiber, USB and Ethernet. An optional RF sampling port enables easy forward and reverse power monitoring.
Feature:
High power output: Capable of providing a stable continuous wave power output of 500W, meeting the needs of various high-power applications.
Broadband coverage: A frequency range of 10kHz to 250MHz, capable of meeting the amplification requirements of different frequency signals, with excellent instantaneous bandwidth characteristics.
High gain and linearity: The minimum gain is 57dB (at the maximum setting), and it has excellent linearity, which ensures that the signal does not lose its integrity during amplification and guarantees the quality of the output signal.
Good gain flatness: The typical value of the small-signal gain flatness is ±1.5dB, and the maximum value is ±2.0dB. This ensures that the variation of signal gain within the entire operating frequency range is small, thereby guaranteeing the consistency of amplification effects for signals at different frequencies.
