The new N4372E optical wave component analyzer is based on the N5290A and N5291A 900 Hz to 110/120 GHz PNA millimeter-wave system, providing an unprecedented bandwidth for optical receiver testing and optical transmitter testing. 
 
The Keysight N4372E optical wave component analyzer provides bandwidth for testing of optical receivers and optical transmitters. Manufacturers of transmitters and receivers (TX/RX) are approaching higher baud rates, in both return-to-zero and non-return-to-zero (RZ/NRZ) and pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) formats, thereby driving the development of high-bandwidth S-parameter testing. 
 
The N4372E optical component analyzer has a measurement capability of 110 GHz and can perform photoelectric tests within an extended wavelength range. It also provides RX tests up to 110 GHz throughout the entire range of 1260 nm to 1620 nm. It has an integrated optical power meter, allowing you to check and control the operating power. The optical transmitter input port of the N4372E optical component analyzer is connected to an auxiliary tunable laser to verify the S parameters within the wavelength range.
