The R&S®®TS8996 RSE test system is designed for EMI and radiation emission testing of wireless devices in a semi-electromagnetic wave anechoic chamber or a full-electromagnetic wave anechoic chamber. The modular design makes the system easy to expand to include new communication technologies. Typical test equipment includes radiation measurements of mobile phones or radio equipment, as well as other short-range devices. The standard requires a wide range of test setups and a wide and high-frequency range (up to 40 GHz). Using option B21, with the receiving unit TC-RSE, ESW or FSW for 5G FR2, the frequency range is extended to 325 GHz. This frequency range also covers the dedicated RSE test procedures.
