AH15199B 140 Gbaud wideband/high output (2 Vpp) linear amplifier *1 developed for evaluating optical transmission equipment with a capacity of over 1 Tera.
This new type of linear amplifier has a wideband frequency response from 200 kHz to 135 GHz at a -6 dB bandwidth and can amplify 140 Gbaud PAM4*2 signals set at 2.0 Vpp. High gain *3 amplification +15.5 dB and low jitter *4, with a fluctuation of 300 fs compared to the actual signal timing, support the amplification of high-quality input signals that are attenuated during transmission.
Furthermore, the AH15199B can amplify 140 Gbaud PAM4 signals *5 from various signal sources (such as DSP), and can directly drive devices such as modulators that require a high amplitude. Therefore, it is a suitable driver *6 system for evaluating 800GbE and 1.6TbE digital coherent optical modulators, and now as the next-generation transmission system and IM-DD has become the focus of attention *7 systems widely used in optical communication.
