Overview
The SIM940 integrates the rubidium oscillator (SRS model PRS10) into the SIM900 platform. It offers stable and reliable performance, with an estimated aging time of less than 5 × 10-9 over 20 years and a rubidium oscillator MTBF of more than 200,000 hours. The SIM940 is an ideal instrument for calibration and research laboratories or any application that requires precise frequency standards.
SIM940 10 MHz Rb oscillator
The SIM940 integrates the rubidium oscillator (SRS model PRS10) into the SIM900 platform. It offers stable and reliable performance, with an estimated aging time of less than 5 × 10-9 over 20 years and a rubidium oscillator MTBF of more than 200,000 hours. The SIM940 is an ideal instrument for calibration and research laboratories or any application that requires precise frequency standards.
There are three 10 MHz outputs with extremely low phase noise (-130 dBc/Hz at 10 Hz offset) and 1-second Ellen variance (<2 × 10-11). The SIM940 can be phase-locked to an external 1 pps reference (such as GPS), providing Stratum 1 performance. In addition, a 1 pps output is provided, with its jitter less than 1 ns and the resolution can be set to 1 ns.
All the functions of SIM940 can be controlled from a computer through the SIM900 host. The host supports RS-232 and GPIB interfaces.
