The 371A is Tektronix's transistor tracer. A curve tracker or curve checker is an electronic test device used by engineers to analyze the characteristics of semiconductor devices. The curve tracker contains current and voltage sources to stimulate the device under test (EUT). The curve tracker applies a scanning voltage to the two terminals of the EUT, measuring the level of current flowing at each voltage.
