Product Overview:
The Tektronix MSO54 provides a better understanding of complex systems by offering six analog channels and a large 15.6" HD (1,920 x 1,080) display. Many applications, such as embedded systems, three-phase power electronics, automotive electronics, power supply design, and DC-DC power converters require the observation of more than four analog signals to validate and characterize device performance and debug challenging system problems, and digital channels share the same high sampling rate (up to 6.25 GS/s) for fine timing. The resolution and long recording length (up to 125 Mpoints) allow for long time capture as an analog channel.
FlexChannel technology enables each input on the Tektronix MSO54 to be used as a single analog channel or eight digital channels. Simply connect the TLP058 logic probe to any input to complete the conversion. Color-coded handwriting lines make it easy to determine whether the logical signal is a 1 or a 0, even if the trace is flat on the display. 1 is shown in green and 0 is shown in blue. Unique multi-transition detection hardware indicates when multiple transitions are occurring within the sampling interval. When you need to capture high-amplitude signals and view smaller signal details, the Tektronix MSO54 provides the performance to capture signals of interest while minimizing the impact of unwanted noise. At the heart of the MSO54 is a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with 16 times the vertical resolution of a traditional 8-bit ADC.
