Product Description:
The B1506A Power Device Analyzer/Curve Tracker is a complete power circuit design solution that enables circuit designers to select the right power device for their application in order to maximize the value of power electronics. The B1506A evaluates all power device parameters under different operating conditions, including: IV parameters (breakdown voltage and on-resistance), three-terminal capacitance at high voltage bias, gate charge and power loss. B1506A Power Device Analyzer/Curve Tracker for Circuit design offers all curve tracker features and more.
The B1506A's performance is outstanding, including A wide range of voltage and current (3 kV and 1500 A) and temperature (-50°C to +250°C) measurements, fast pulse capabilities, and Sub-nA current measurement resolution to identify nonconforming devices under real-world circuit operating conditions. Its unique software interface provides a familiar device technical data format, allowing users to easily characterize devices without formal training. The conversion integrated circuit in the test fixture supports fully automatic test functions and can automatically switch between high voltage and high current tests as well as IV and CV measurements.
In addition, plug-in socket adapters for device test fixtures reduce cable connections and avoid human error. The B1506A also supports full automatic thermal characterization: applications with integrated Thermostream control or thermal plates. Since the device under test is in close proximity to the measurement resource of B1506A, there is no obvious parasitic effect caused by cable extension in the temperature chamber.
As A result, the B1506A enables accurate measurements of oscillating ultra-large currents up to 1500 A at both high and low temperatures. The B1506A's revolutionary power electronics circuit design capabilities help maximize end product value and accelerate product development.
