The Tektroneck 80E10B, 80E08B, and 80E04 electrical sampling modules are dual channel time domain reflectometer (TDR) sampling modules that provide up to 12 ps incidence and 15 ps reflection rise time in the 80E10B (18 ps incidence in the 80E08B). In 80E04, it is 23 ps incident). Each channel of these modules is capable of generating a fast step size for TDR mode, and the acquisition portion of the sampling module monitors the incident step size and any reflected energy. The polarity of each channel step can be selected independently. In addition to independent testing of isolated lines, differential or common-mode TDR or S-parameter testing of two coupled lines is also allowed. The independent step size generation of each channel enables true differential measurement, thus ensuring the measurement accuracy of differential devices.
