Product Description:
The SR560 is a high-performance, low-noise preamplifier ideal for a variety of applications, including cryogenic measurement, optical inspection and audio engineering.
The SR560 has a differential front end with 4 nV/√Hz input noise and 100 MΩ input impedance. The complete isoline of noise factor is shown in the figure below. The SR560 input is fully floating (the BNC shield is not connected to chassis ground). The amplifier grounding and chassis grounding are located on the rear panel to allow flexibility in grounding the instrument. Input offset zeroing is done by the front panel potentiometer, which can be accessed with a small screwdriver.
In addition to the signal input, the TTL blanking input on the back panel allows you to quickly turn the instrument's gain off and on. This is very useful for preventing overload on the front end. The gain is turned off at 5μs when the TTL level is higher, and turned on again within 10μs when the TTL signal is lower.
