Product Description:
The new Keysight 86122C multi-wavemeter has an absolute wavelength accuracy of ± 0.2ppm and a differential accuracy of ± 0.15ppm, making it one of the top wavemeter available for optical communication testing. Its 1270 to 1650 nm wavelength range covers all fiber to the home, metro and long-distance transmission systems. The instrument can measure the spectrum of up to 1,000 laser lines at a time, which is more than enough for a fully filled dense wavelength division multiplexing system (DWDM).
The new 86122C is an updated version of the proven 86122A and 86122B. The product is used to efficiently develop, manufacture and validate tunable emitter lasers and optical subsystems for today's and tomorrow's high-speed applications. Due to its reliability and durability, the product range is equally popular in the manufacturing shop floor and on the engineer's workbench, and is strong enough to be installed on a ship. Statistics from the majority of installed wavelength meters in the industry allow us to continually fine-tune our instruments to reduce the cost of ownership and extend the time of use, especially in 24/7 operational testing: we have extended the 86122C recommended recalibration cycle to two years and doubled the life expectancy of the built-in reference laser. The new multiwavemeter comes with a five-year warranty that covers not only the reference laser, but also all opto-mechanical and electronic components. To ensure continued supportability, the 86122C is based on Windows ® 7. The accessible USB ports on the front and rear panels host a USB flash drive for data exchange, a mouse and keyboard for comfortable operation
