Product Introduction:
Agilent 346A noise source is the ideal collaborative tool for noise factor solutions. Because it is a broadband noise source (10 MHz to 18 GHz), there is no need to use multiple sources in different frequency bands. A low SWR of the noise source can reduce the main source of measurement uncertainty, which is the reflection of the test signal. The change in reflection coefficient from "on" to "off" is very small (less than 0.01) and is designed for accurate characterization of input impedance sensitive devices (such as GaAsFET and many UHF amplifiers).
