The Tektronix TSG4100A series RF vector signal generators offer medium performance and modulation bandwidth up to 200 MHz at the price of an entry-level RF signal generator. These models (available at 2GHz, 4GHz, 6GHz) use the new technology to deliver spury-free output with low phase noise (-113 dBc/Hz at 20 kHz carrier offset at 1 GHz) and extraordinary frequency resolution (1 μHz at any frequency). The TSG4100A series comes standard with analog modulation. Convenient on-site software upgrades facilitate the transition from analog to more advanced vector and digital modulation capabilities, providing the most flexible configuration and the best capex protection. TSG4100A models with manufacturer part number extensions M00 (876-5792, 876-5806, 876-5803) are equipped with oven-controlled crystal oscillators (OCXO). Models with manufacturer part number extensions M01 (876-5796, 876-5809, 876-5812) are equipped with a voltage controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO). The TSG4100A instrument complements Tektronix's other leading mid-range RF test solutions, such as the USB-based RSA306 spectrum analyzer (830-2852) and Tektronix MDO4000B and MDO3000 mixed-domain oscilloscopes.
