The E5052A Signal Source Analyzer is a single-instrument solution that provides an indispensable set of measurement functions for evaluating RF and microwave signal sources such as crystal oscillators, VCO, SAW oscillators, DROs, YIG oscillators, PLL synthesizers, RFICs, and LO circuits. Features include measurement of phase noise, frequency/power/phase transients, frequency, power and DC current, and spectrum monitoring. This all-in-one solution is designed to provide accurate, efficient measurements with easy-to-use features that significantly improve design and test efficiency. The signal source analyzer features a built-in low-noise reference source and an innovative technology called cross-correlation that provides unmatched phase noise sensitivity. The normally tedious phase noise measurement is now more than 10 times faster! It also provides extremely high sampling rates and frequency resolution in transient measurements to meet the test needs of fast switching synthesizers in today's and future wireless communications and aerospace/defense applications.
