Description
The 86106B Keysight has an integrated calibrated optical channel and an accessible built-in OC-192/STM-64 filter to perform standards-based transmitter conformance testing. When the filter is cut off, the 86106B provides an unfiltered optical bandwidth of 28 GHz for accurate characterization by high-speed lasers. It also improves the frequency response variation of the unfiltered channel to minimize the measured light pulse distortion. The 40 GHz electrical channel allows wide band measurement of electrical waveforms.
