Product Overview:
WSS-2000 is a programmable light wave processor based on liquid crystal on silicon (LCOS) technology. Using Santec's patented LCOS technology, the WSS-2000 is highly flexible, enabling users to program a variety of optical filtering, attenuation and switching schemes. The product has a wide range of applications, including the use of filters as optical balancers for high-speed signals in next generation fiber networks, as adaptive multichannel filters for advanced fiber transmission systems (DWDM, OFDM), as flexible test and measurement systems, or as WSS simulators.
