Product Overview:
The 81578A Keysight variable optical attenuator is designed for multi-mode fiber applications and provides the lowest insertion loss and excellent wavelength flatness in the 60 dB attenuation range for characterization of optical network components in telecommunications and data communication systems.

Zero power meter adjustment using the built-in shutter
Built-in calibration function
 
Advantages:
The integrated shutter protects the test device and simplifies positioning and power meter zero adjustment without having to change Settings.
Enhanced internal calibration characteristics reduce uncertainty in multi-wavelength applications and improve calibration efficiency.
