34970A data acquisition/data recorder switch unit consists of a 3 slot host and a built-in 6 1/2 digit multimeter. Each channel can be configured individually to perform one of 11 different measurement functions, thus neither adding cost nor requiring complex signal conditioning attachments. Eight optional plug-in modules are available to build a compact data recorder, a full-featured data acquisition system or a low-cost switching unit. The modules are connected with screws without the use of terminal modules. The unique relay maintenance function records the closing times of each switch, making the maintenance of relays simple and predictable. Our best-selling 34901A module features a built-in thermocouple reference and 20 2-wire channels.
