JDSU MAP Benchtop MAP+2B00
The VIAVI Solution/JDSU MAP family of mainframes and modules is a flexible instrument platform for optical test and measurement applications. It is available in two formats :19 "8-slot Master (MAP+2M00) and 9.5" 3-slot Benchtop (MAP+2B00). They feature a hot-swappable plain back plate that is compatible with more than 15 different types of instrument cartridges. The MAP host and MAP desktop include a 9-key keyboard, color display and ports for remote communication.

  • Hot-swappable tape (removable without power off)
  • Dynamic MAP firmware and console, automatic identification of installed tapes
  • RS-232 and GPIB interfaces
  • Color display


EDFA amplifier product features:

Available in six configurations: Preamplifier, Booster, High Power Booster, mid-span Access Booster, in-line and booster dwdm. It has the characteristics of low noise factor, high output power and high gain. Currently, the high-power booster model has an output power of 21 dBm.
