The R&S SMR series includes four basic models designed as CW generators with pulse modulation capability. Each of the four basic models offers excellent value for money and can be used at an affordable price for users wishing to dabble in the microwave testing field. What if more stringent measurements are required - use R&S? SMR can still be done easily: all base models can be quickly and easily upgraded with options to provide a signal generator with AM/FM capability, or a synthetic sweep generator with fast, fully synthesized simulated oblique sweep.
