The Tektronix differential probe P6247 enables users to make time - or frequency-domain measurements on high bandwidth signals common in disk drives, digital IC design (RAMBUS), and communications applications (gigabit Ethernet, IEEE-1394 Firewire, and Fiber Channel). The P6248 comes with an attachment that allows RAMBUS access through the probe and IEEE-1394 interconnect. All probes feature a small probe geometry. They are equipped with probe tip attachments that accommodate manual probe surface mounted equipment while maintaining a high CMRR. They are ideal for electronic and timing analysis design validation of disk drive read channels for troubleshooting ground flutter problems associated with high speed logic. Other applications include crosstalk compliance testing for pulse shapes or high-speed communication signals.
