The U2331A provides multiple functions in one module. In polling mode, it can be used as a digital multimeter. In continuous mode, it can be turned into a simple oscilloscope and provide simple trigger function. Whether used as a standalone module or inserted into the U2781A USB modular instrument case, the synchronization and trigger function provides great flexibility to easily perform the required measurements. Because the analog output can emit predefined or arbitrary waveforms, it is also a good tool for applications that require closed-loop feedback or excitation. Digital IO channels allow it to connect to switches, relays, and solenos for closed-loop control. Burst mode enables the U2331A to simulate the scenario of simultaneously simulating input collection.
