The MD1230B network monitor has in-service (pass-through mode) capture and is equipped with a large buffer unique to each port. This powerful feature is especially useful for troubleshooting network failures. Frames captured can be searched based on specific criteria, and the desired frames can be selected and displayed. Multiple protocols can be decoded and displayed for captured frames at full speed of up to 10 Gbps.
