The WA-1600 Wavemeter system is an instrument designed for simple, automated and accurate wavelength measurements of continuous wave (CW) laser sources. The wavelength meter system calculates the interference fringes produced by the input laser radiation in the scanning Michelson interferometer, while calculating the fringes from the built-in reference laser. The WA-1600 uses a stable single-frequency HeNe laser with calibration accuracy better than ±50 MHz relative to the center of the neon atomic line. This corresponds to a reference accuracy of ± 0.1 ppm.
