The OB1 variable back reflector enables precise back reflection control and excellent repeatability. It can be used as a benchtop or rack-mounted instrument.
The OB1 is ideal for laboratory and production applications including transceiver testing, QA testing, laser production and automated test systems.
The OB1 variable back reflector provides +/- 0.02dB repeatability with a single mode range of 60dB and a multimode range of 35dB. The OB1 can be controlled via the front panel touch screen or remotely via USB and Ethernet.
The OB1 series variable back reflectors have an operating range of 1200-1700 for single mode and 750-1700 for multimode. A 50/50 coupler can be added to monitor the input signal without reflections.
